A quick rundown of the events at our tables in August!
Weekly Events:
- SUNDAY: 1PM Board Game Afternoon. 1:00-6:00. See Discord for details and planning.
Lorcana Tournaments: 1:00. Every Sunday - Formats vary week to week based on what Sunday of the month it is, see special events section for details. $5 Entry Fee with Booster Pack Prizes. - MONDAY: Open Tables for Roleplaying, Miniatures Gaming, Card Gaming, or Board Gaming!
- TUESDAY: Open Tables for Roleplaying, Miniatures Gaming, Card Gaming, or Board Gaming!
- WEDNESDAY: Open Tables for Roleplaying, Miniatures Gaming, Card Gaming, or Board Gaming!
- THURSDAY: Casual Legacy. 4:00
Learn Games with Katie! 5:00-6:00 Join us on Thursday evenings to learn how to play some shorter, lighter games with our very own Katie! Come on in and have some fun! - FRIDAY: Lorcana League 4:00-6:00
Magic Modern FNM. 6:00-10:00 $5 Entry fee. Store credit and Promo pack prizes.
Casual Commander and CEDH during FNM. - SATURDAY: Casual Pauper 1:00-7:00. Often more MtG Commander Saturdays, too. Saturdays are a great time to pop in and learn the basics of Magic the Gathering as well!
Special Events:
- LORCANA CHANGES! We're going to be doing Lorcana play based on what Sunday of the week it is. We hope that these new formats keep folks entertained! All of these tournaments will have a $5 entry fee with each entry adding one pack to the prize pool. The formats are as follows:
First Sunday of the Month - Rainbow Singleton (your 60 card deck can be all 6 colors, but no more than one copy of each card)
Second Sunday of the Month - Pick a Side (your 60 card deck can only contain Characters who all have the Hero type or all have the Villain type)
Third Sunday of the Month - Mouseketeers (Multiplayer format, 100 cards including 3 "Main Characters" with the Ink colors of Main Characters dictating the colors of your deck).
Fourth Sunday of the Month - Poorcana (60 card deck with ONLY commons and uncommons. Normal deck restrictions apply).
AND!! IF we get a FIFTH Sunday of the Month...
Fifth Sunday of the Month - Mad Hatter Presents: CHANGE PLACES!! Standard deck construction rules apply, but before each match you roll a die. Roll high and play as normal, roll low and you have to play the match using each other's deck! - Friday July 26th-Sunday July 28th: BLOOMBURROW PRERELEASE WEEKEND! We're shaking our Scheduling up a little bit with this release to hopefully ease some stress from running both a prerelease and FNM. Our new prerelease times are going to be: Friday, July 26th at 1PM
Saturday, July 27th at 12PM
Saturday July 27th at 5PM
Sunday, July 28th at 1PM
There are all going to have a $40 entry fee and each player will add 2 booster packs to the prize pool. You will win a play booster for each match that you win and there will be additional booster prizes for top finishers. We're going to be giving additional prizes to everyone who shows up in some form of animal attire! Come hang out with the other party animals for some fun and prizes! - Friday July 26th: Bloomburrow Draft! 6:00PM-10:00PM. Entry Fee will be $20 and will add one booster pack to the prize pool!
- Saturday July 27th: URSULA'S RETURN STORE CHAMPIONSHIP. This competitive level event for Lorcana will have BONKERS prizes for the top 4 and will also include 2 booster packs of Ursula's Return just for entering! Entry fee will be $25 and registration MUST be completed on Melee at https://melee.gg/Tournament/View/109624 We've capped this event at 16 players so make sure you register soon!
- Sunday July 28th: DISNEY LORCANA: POORCANA! 1:00-5:00. Entry fee will be $5 and will include a booster pack with entry!
- Sunday August 4th: DISNEY LORCANA: RAINBOW SINGLETON! 1:00-5:00. Entry fee will be $5 and will include booster pack prizes!
- Saturday August 10th: BIG SUMMER AUCTION BEGINS! That's right! It's auction time again! Starting on August 9th you can begin submitting your auction lots online. All lots must be brought into the store before we close on Friday August 23rd. You can find more about the auction on our store Discord server, and you can submit lots HERE.
- Sunday August 11th: DISNEY LORCANA: PICK A SIDE! 1:00-5:00. Entry fee will be $5 and will include booster pack prizes!
- Sunday August 18th: DISNEY LORCANA: MOUSEKETEERS! 1:00-5:00. Entry fee will be $5 and will include a booster pack with entry!
- Monday August 19th: Painting Day! Third Monday of every month at 4PM. Come learn painting tips and tricks while having some snacks and celebrating the hobby!
- Saturday August 24th: SUMMER AUCTION BIDDING BEGINS! Bidding in our big summer auction starts at midnight at Friday the 23rd rolls into Saturday the 24th. In order to bid you must call the store and register for a bidder number. You can see more on our
- Sunday August 25th: DISNEY LORCANA: POORCANA! 1:00-5:00. Entry fee will be $5 and will include a booster pack with entry!
- Saturday August 31st: Monthly Pauper Tournament! 1:00-5:00. Entry fee will be $5 and will include standard credit prizes!
- Saturday August 31st: BIG AUCTION DAY! 12:30ish-5ish. Starting at about Noon-Thirty, bidding is going to wrap up on our Discord Server. We'll then process all lots through the rest of the day and Store Credit/Auction Winnings will be available starting on Sunday, September 1st.
- Sunday September 1st: DISNEY LORCANA: RAINBOW SINGLETON! 1:00-5:00. Entry fee will be $5 and will include booster pack prizes!
- SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 7th: CAST AWAY AUTHOR SIGNING! 1:00-4:00. Matt Chiamis, author of the Mork Borg compatible RPG Cast Away, will be joining us with copies of his book for sale! Meet Matt and chat with him about his RPG!
- Sunday September 8th: DISNEY LORCANA: PICK A SIDE! 1:00-5:00. Entry fee will be $5 and will include booster pack prizes!
- Monday September 9th-Thursday September 12th: STORE VACATION! We'll be CLOSED for four days while our staff refreshes themselves! Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Hello there!
We have a whole series of Exit games that should scratch the same itch as murder mystery games.
The policy for playing games in-store is pretty simple. When you see "open tables" on our event schedule, just some on in. All we ask is family friendly language and conduct.
We DO buy used games. All games need to be piece checked by us and they need to be in quality condition, definitely not stuff you'd find at a yard sale.

I had a we questions if you all don’t mind. My family and I live in Greenfield and I have three kids 5, 12 and 15. I was injured months ago and my 12 son and I started doing murder mystery games together. It never clicked that there was a game store in town.
So I’m curious what you have… I ran into one game that I am actually going to send my husband and son in to grab in just a short bit after they bring my daughter to me.
When you say people can play games in the store, are those RPG only or what is the set up?
Do you have other murder mystery games in your repertoire? Or suggestions for two players that is like that set up?
I saw a few “used” items, so I’m assuming that you guys may buy used games? Please correct me if I’m wrong? What are the requirements for sale to the shop, if this is even something you offer.
I appreciate your time and I’ll be sending the boys to town in a bit. As I wrote this I realized that there is probably an faq somewhere that answers some of these questions so I’ll putz around on the site. I asked my son Myles to go up and speak with someone about the types of games we play and to see if there are other options that fit into our gaming bubble. Fingers crossed he can do that.
